Minerva Imaging and Debiopharm partner with enabling conjugation technology to advance next generation radiopharmaceuticals
Olstykke, Denmark and Martigny, Switzerland – May 29, 2026 – Minerva Imaging, a market-leading, integrated Contract Research Organisation (CRO) and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) specialized in targeted radioligand therapies, today announced a strategic collaboration with Debiopharm, a Swiss-based biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of innovative therapies in oncology and infectious diseases.
The collaboration centers around the integration of Debiopharm’s proprietary AbYlink™ conjugation technology into Minerva Imaging’s preclinical research platform, supporting the development of next-generation radiopharmaceuticals as well as other targeted conjugates. AbYlink™ enables one step regio-selective conjugation of a variety of payloads on the Fc domain of antibodies without affecting antigen-binding domains. Under the license agreement, Minerva Imaging will apply the technology to the development of theranostics, and emerging biologic-based radiopharmaceutical formats.
For Minerva Imaging’s customers, the addition of AbYlink™ expands the toolbox available for designing more precise and better-characterized targeted agents. The technology can support evaluation of biological vectors such as antibodies, antibody drug conjugates, antibody fragments, and other Fc-containing molecules for delivery of radioisotopes or other payloads, while preserving target binding and enabling more controlled construct design during discovery and translational development.
The collaboration also reflects a broader evolution in radiopharmaceutical development, as the field expands beyond small molecules and peptides towards more complex biological vectors that may offer differentiated targeting, pharmacokinetics, and payload flexibility. By incorporating AbYlink™ into its integrated platform, Minerva Imaging is positioned to support customers developing these next-generation approaches from early concept evaluation through translational studies and manufacturing readiness.
“Radiopharmaceuticals are rapidly transforming oncology, and at Minerva Imaging we are at the forefront of the developments.” said Carsten H. Nielsen, CEO and Co-founder of Minerva Imaging. “With the integration of AbYlink™ into our capabilities, we further strengthen our fully integrated radiopharmaceutical platform. Importantly, this gives our customers new opportunities to evaluate biologically derived targeting vectors and develop more advanced, precisely engineered radiopharmaceuticals and conjugates across the drug development pathway.”
“Debiopharm is pleased to collaborate with Minerva Imaging to broaden the application of AbYlink™ in targeted therapeutic development,” said Frederic Levy, Chief Scientific Officer, Debiopharm. “By combining Debiopharm’s conjugation technology with Minerva Imaging’s radiopharmaceutical research and development capabilities, this collaboration has the potential to accelerate innovation in next-generation targeted therapies.”

About AbYlink™
AbYlink™ is a versatile and rapid regio-selective chemical conjugation technology for use in preparing diagnostic or therapeutic conjugates. This one step method results in stable conjugation at defined and invariable sites on the Fc domain of an antibody or the like, with no impact on antigen-binding regions. It enables a seamless and reproducible conjugation of payloads (e.g., a chelator for radiolabeling, a fluorescent dye or a drug) to antibodies or ADCs. The universal applicability of the technology has been demonstrated for various antibody isotypes and payloads.
AbYlink is a registered trademark of Debiopharm International SA
